Getting the right charger matters more than it appears. The wrong voltage, the wrong tip size or an underpowered adapter will either fail to charge, charge intermittently, or damage the machine. Each listing states the wattage, voltage, current and tip size — check those against the label on your old charger or the underside of the laptop.
